Beast of Reincarnation is an Xbox Play Anywhere title — confirmed on the official Xbox page. Buy it once digitally (or play through Game Pass) and you can play on both Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC at no additional cost, with progress shared via cloud saves. Start a boss fight on your console, finish it on your PC.

What this means for choosing your platform
- Play on both couch and desk? The Xbox-ecosystem version is clearly the flexible pick: one purchase (or one Game Pass sub), both devices, one save file.
- Steam loyalist? Your save stays in Steam Cloud on PC — fine if you only play there, but there's no path to console.

What about crossplay?
Not applicable — Beast of Reincarnation is single-player only (no co-op or PvP), so there's nothing to play "across" platforms. The only cross-platform question that matters is saves, answered above.
Unconfirmed details we'll verify at launch
- Whether Steam Cloud is enabled for the Steam build (near-certain, but we'll confirm).
- Exact sync behavior when switching devices mid-session on Play Anywhere (see our fixes page for the launch-week save-safety rule: don't run the same save on two devices simultaneously).
- Any save-transfer tool between platforms (none announced; rare but not unheard of).
