Both editions are digital on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. No physical collector's edition has been announced, and there's no early-access perk — Deluxe buyers start at the same unlock time as everyone else.
What's in the Deluxe Edition — full item list
Per the official Xbox store listing, the $10 Deluxe premium buys you:
- Black Shiba skin for Koo and Brown Shiba skin for Koo — cosmetic skins for your canine partner
- "Oni's Hat" — headwear for Emma
- Emma's sword "Big Dipper" — a weapon (whether it's cosmetic or a stat weapon is unconfirmed; we'll test at launch and note it in the builds guide)
- 100,000 Amber — in-game currency
- A number of vegetable seedlings — yes, seedlings; farming/consumable systems haven't been detailed pre-launch
Pre-order bonus
Pre-ordering either edition grants, per the Xbox listing: a Brown Shiba skin for Koo plus 30,000 Amber. Note the overlap: the Deluxe Edition already includes the Brown Shiba skin, so the unique pre-order value is effectively the 30,000 Amber.

Which edition should you buy?
- Most players: Standard at $59.99. The Deluxe pack is cosmetics plus currency — nice-to-haves, not content.
- Xbox/PC players: consider Game Pass first — day-one inclusion, and Xbox Play Anywhere covers console + PC on one purchase if you buy.
- If "Big Dipper" turns out to be a real early weapon (not just a skin), the Deluxe math changes for min-maxers — we'll verify within launch day.

Can I upgrade from Standard to Deluxe later?
Publishers typically sell the Deluxe pack as separate DLC post-launch; we'll confirm the upgrade path and price once stores list it.
Is the pre-order bonus obtainable after launch?
Sometimes such items are sold later, but there's no guarantee. If the Koo skin + Amber matter to you, order before unlock.
Does Game Pass include Deluxe content?
No — Game Pass provides the base game; Deluxe items would be a separate purchase for subscribers.
What is Amber?
The in-game currency. What it buys (and whether 100,000 is a lot) is unknown until launch — we'll put real context here on day one.
